Dr. Jose Vazquez-Tanus MD, founded XanoGene Anti Aging & Genomic Clinic based on a new holistic approach to healing the world of debilitating disease, based on the new Genomic Medicine field and DNA assessments. After several years of continued studies and training in the field of Anti Aging Regenerative & Functional Medicine, Dr Vazquez-Tanus invited Dr Luis Martinez Rivera to join an special but highly specialized journey in field of Anti Aging & Genomic Medicine.
XanoGene embodies clean living and provides the healthiest environment for the body to heal, but the most important factor in Dr.Vazquez-Tanus vision is a truly integrated approach to assessing and treating each patient personalizing each individual according to their footprint and lifemap. He knows it is important to focus on the whole person, while incorporating the fields of Medicine,Genomics,Anti Aging, Functional, Sport, Energy Medicine, Psychology, Nutrition, Referal Dentistry, Yoga, Thai Shi, Qigong, Fitness and Body Work into the guest’s healing journey.
Under his guidance, XanoGene has developed a treatment modality that weaves these different health disciplines together to synergistically heal body, mind and spirit.
At the beginning of his medical career, Dr. Vazquez-Tanus gained renown for creating Research & Cardiovascular Center, a research center fully dedicated to clinical research with different pharmaceutical companies and Universities in the world.
After 20 years of practice and own healthy experience he decided to start holistic trainings for better understanding of human nature, integration and healing process, not just a drug to treat a symptom.
In 2006 Dr Vazquez-Tanus created his own product line of nutraceuticasl using them with great success in mitigating the suffering of the patients, evaluated at his center. Now was the time to bring high tech new approaches to chronic degenerative diseases and Dr Luis Martinez Rivera accepted to be the co-founder of XanoGene LLC, the premier of Anti Aging and Genomic Medicine in Puerto Rico. The in depth knowledge of Dr Martinez in the field of Genomic Medicine, Detoxification strategies,acupunture, intravenous nutritional therapies and biotechnology was the right decision to launch XanoGene Anti Aging & Genomic Clinic.
Dr. Martinez-Rivera founded Xanogene along with Dr. Vazquez Tanus out of a vision and need to provide the best, most advanced patient care possible. In 2009, frustrated with the inadequacies and limits of allopathic medicine, Dr. Luis Martinez-Rivera founded The Xyrion Corporation, a truly multifaceted entity within the fields of human health, biology and venture investments. The Xyrion Medical Institute, one of Xyrion's subcorporations, became a truly integrative medical clinic, having the honor of being the first clinic in Puerto Rico to fully integrate full genomic profiling for its patients. Xyrion Health Sciences became a leader in medical grade nutritional supplements and Xyrion Ventures a leader in Biotech investment and development.
Afterwards, Dr. Martinez-Rivera met Dr. Vazquez-Tanus and they both understood how they shared a same vision for where and how medicine should evolve to provide the best possible care for patients. And so Xanogene was born. Welcome to Xanogene! Get ready for a new life!
